Woohoo!! I got my State Tax Return!! This year everything is SUPER QUICK!! I just filed it last thursday and look a week later...it's already in my account! So, you ask, what will I do with this money? Take a trip...home renovations...new clothes...my answer to you, NOT ONE OF THESE THINGS!! I had to file early, to get my state return, so that whatever I got, would go back to pay my Federal Taxes...what a rip off!! LoL!! Another tax season gone...thank goodness!!

It's that time of year again when some of us are sweatin' it out...do we owe...are we gettin' any money back?? Yup, that's right...it's Tax Time!! When I first started working and needed my taxes done I had an Uncle who would do it for me...then I started makin' a bit more and Taei got into the picture so we started to go to the same CPA that my parents went to. After paying her $175 and seeing what it is that she did, I thought, "Well I could do that!" So I entered into the world of TurboTax and I must say that I LOVE it!!

I can save my information from previous years and just import them into the current year I'm working on. Every year that I've used it, it gets easier and easier. If you are a Costco member they sell the software to you cheaper. One of the best parts for me...eFile!! Yup...I can file it at home in the convenience of my PJs and I get a email to confirm that the IRS and/or the State Department of Taxation has gotten it! So we still end up owing to the Feds...freakin' Uncle Sam!!...but we're gettin' a pretty nice return from the State. When I eFiled I was able to select the date I wanted my payment deducted from my checking account and I also elected to have my refund and additional rebate (the one good thing Bush has done) automatically deposited into my account! AWESOME!! It's been working out so good that now I even do my moms and my sisters taxes...yay...wait a second thats more work!! LoL!! But it all works out!! If you haven't already done so, you better get on your taxes...April 15th isn't that far away!
