7 Years of Matrimonial Bliss
Today is my 7 year wedding anniversary. According to my web search, the traditional 7th wedding anniversary gift is copper. Copper?? What the heck am I supposed to buy the hubby, a pipe? Some wiring? LoL...well we don't normally get gifts on anniversary. Last year we stayed home and had steak and shrimp, the year before we did some work in the Laie LDS Temple, and the year before we had the most AMAZING brunch at Hoku's in the The Kahala Resort...while I wanted to return to Hoku's the budget did not quite agree, but thanks to Da Tin Man and MoOgooGuypAN I had the most amazing dinner plans. See the hubby loves lamb, but I've never really tried it, but after seeing the way these two prepare lamb, I decided to give it a shot!
We had a quiet dinner at home for our 7th Anniversary. Even through all our squabbles, I know Taei is the perfect man for me!! No one else would put up with me the way he does!!

Happy Anniversary !!!! So good to hear that there are couples like you and your hubby celebrate with a dinner or lunch... am glad that you'vr tried our fare... looks real ono and yummy... how did it turn out? was it hard to do?? was it grilled or cooked in the oven? what did you give your Taei and what did he give you? Ask Moogoo if he jealous... what you had for dessert? I'm so happy for you guys... Word of advise from a husband that is married to a wonderful woman for 38 years.. communicate more than fight. make discussions instead of yelling.... You are a Mormon... make use of the family nite.. help each other in good and bad times.... always be there for each other ..no go sleep being angry with each other... a family that plys together, stay together... put aside 1 meal during the day to sit down and ask each other "wassup,had good day or what".. if your husband the quiet type, go find out what will make him open up...respect each other... everybody need some space sometime so give each ohter space to do things they like do.... Always pray and talk to God.... he knows everything...

If you guys have chance and can take-off for the week end, go to a hotrel in waikiki or go off island on a whim and just spend time with each other... real good fun.... we're doing this now because moogo not around...
